EPK for a Canadian artist covered by the New York Times
Redesign of Ina Filip's Electronic Press Kit — a release on Cantaloupe Music, coverage in the NYT, Gramophone and WNYC. Editorial aesthetic aligned with the New York market.
Who is Ina Filip
Ina Filip is a Canadian violinist and composer whose work moves between classical music, Indian raga and contemporary improvisation. Her album was released on Cantaloupe Music — the same label as John Adams and Bang on a Can. The New York Times covered it. Gramophone covered it. WNYC covered it.
The project
An EPK (Electronic Press Kit) is an artist's business card for the B2B market: agents, curators, radio stations, festivals and publishers. It needs to communicate credentials immediately, with no visual noise.
We redesigned the /epk page of inafilip.ca with Wix + Velo. A hero with photo and tagline. A Featured Release section with streaming embed. A Press section with NYT, Gramophone and WNYC logos as immediate social proof. An animated expand/collapse biography. High-resolution press photos. Videos, projects, a complete discography since 2016, and downloads (press release in EN and communiqué in FR).
Aesthetic decision
