A branding agency that knows what your brand will say

Brand identity at Crazy Diamond is led by Manni Moritz, a copywriter, content strategist and designer. That is why it starts with the message: before the first sketch, we define what your brand says and to whom. The logo, colors and typography come next, ready for your website, social media and print.

What does a brand identity project include?

OesteOn brand guide: cover
OesteOn brand guide: logo and versions page
OesteOn brand guide: brand colors page

The logo and its versions, colors, typography, usage rules and the brand guide that brings it all together. The scope says what your project includes: some companies only need a logo, others need the whole brand, with stationery and social media pieces.

For a news portal, the identity came with a 14-page brand guide: the idea behind the brand, the logo and how it is built, colors, typography, usage rules, use in audio and video, and the verbal identity.

Why does the identity start with the message?

OesteOn brand guide: verbal identity page
OesteOn brand guide: what the portal never says page
OesteOn brand guide: cover

Because a brand is more than a drawing. It is what the company says, the tone it says it in and what it would never say. Manni writes that alongside the visuals, so the guide comes with the brand's voice: the words it uses, the ones it avoids and how it responds.

In the news portal's guide, a full page shows what the portal never says. Whoever writes for the brand later, your team or another agency, knows the way without guessing.

How many logo versions do I get?

OesteOn logo, horizontal version for light backgrounds
OesteOn logo, horizontal version for dark backgrounds
OesteOn logo, vertical version on the brand yellow

The ones the brand needs to work everywhere: horizontal, vertical and compact, in versions for light and dark backgrounds, the symbol on its own and the icon that shows up in the browser tab and on phones.

For the news portal's identity, the delivery included the logo in SVG and PNG in positive and negative versions, the icon in every size the website and phones ask for, and the guide as a PDF. Everything in its final format, ready to use.

Where does the identity show up?

Everywhere the company shows itself: the website, social media, proposals, letterhead, email signatures, a course cover. An identity only works if it looks the same in all of those places.

For a law firm that came back four times: a 27-page website, logo, letterhead and professional photos. The logo was created for the firm and used on the website and the letterhead.

How do you keep one standard across many pieces?

Course cover: Civil liability for AI
Course cover: CBS and IBS offshore
Course cover: Corporate arbitration

With simple rules, written in the guide and applied piece by piece. When a company produces a lot, like a school with many courses, the standard is what makes the whole set look like one brand.

14 course covers in one visual standard for an online school, alongside the landing page and portal built by Lucas.

Why build the identity and the website together?

oesteon.com.br

Because a brand is really tested on the website: on a phone, on a dark background, in the tab icon, in the image that appears when someone shares the link. With one team on both, the identity comes out with the colors and sizes the website uses.

News portal with online radio and an AI news bot with voice, with brand identity by Manni: Lighthouse 98 on mobile, delivered 16 days ahead of schedule.

How does a project run, from first message to delivery?

  1. 01You tell us in writing what the company does, for whom, and what brand assets it already has.
  2. 02We close the scope in writing, with what is included, the timeline and the price.
  3. 03Manni presents the brand direction, message and visuals together, and you approve it before the final polish.
  4. 04With the direction approved, she creates the logo versions, colors, typography and the pieces in scope.
  5. 05You receive the brand in its final, ready-to-use format, with the guide when it is part of the scope.

How much does brand identity design cost?

The price is fixed and comes from the scope. We don't publish a rate card, because a logo and a full brand with a guide and stationery don't fit on the same line. Tell us what your company needs and we'll send back the scope with a fixed price.

FAQ

Do you design just a logo?
Yes. For the law firm, the logo was a separate project, later used on the website and the letterhead.
Do you register the trademark?
No. Registration is done by you or a trademark attorney with the trademark office in your country; the identity we deliver is the one that goes into the application.
Does the identity work for social media?
Yes, and it is designed with social media in mind. Posts and covers follow the same standard, and the same team can manage your social media. /gestao-de-redes-sociais
How long does it take?
It depends on the scope. The timeline is written down before we start, along with what is included.
Do you work with clients in the United States?
Yes. We work with companies in the US, Latin America, Europe and Brazil, in English, Spanish and Portuguese. All the work happens in writing.

Tell us what your company does and for whom. We'll reply in writing with the questions to close the identity.
