Institutional site, blog, and financing simulator: the Gestão Cloud Financiamentos case
Caixa Aqui banking correspondent in Porto Velho got an institutional site with a custom theme, editorial blog, financing simulator, and SEO/GA4/Search Console confirmed live — Lighthouse 89 mobile and 98 desktop at delivery.
The client
Gestão Cloud Financiamentos is a Caixa Aqui banking correspondent in Porto Velho, Rondônia — handling housing finance (Minha Casa Minha Vida, Brazil's federal affordable-housing program), payroll-deductible credit for public servants, and consortium plans. A sector where trust and LGPD (Brazil's data protection law) compliance aren't details: they're selling points.
Custom theme, not a child theme
As with other recent WordPress projects at Crazy Diamond, the `gestao-cloud` theme was built from scratch — it's not a child theme of any third-party base. A proprietary design system in custom CSS properties, Sora + Inter typography, scroll animations via AOS.js, and a financing simulator with a built-in SAC (Constant Amortization System) calculator as its own page.
The blog that broke — and was fixed the same day
After the first deploy, the client reported the blog was broken — showing raw, unstyled content. Root cause: the Blog page was set as WordPress's static "posts page," which uses `home.php` instead of `archive.php` — and the theme didn't have that template, falling back to the generic default. We created the missing `home.php`, removed 6 junk posts accidentally created while editing another page, and published the first real post with category and SEO properly configured.
SEO and infrastructure confirmed, not just installed
Google Analytics 4 and Search Console verified via Site Kit — and not just "installed": the pageview trigger was confirmed live, after discovering that LiteSpeed caching had been masking GA4's loading in earlier tests. A single JSON-LD schema combining FinancialService + Organization (no duplication with header/footer plugins), Wordfence with brute-force blocking, and automatic backups to the client's own Google Drive.
Result
Lighthouse at delivery: 89 mobile performance and 98 desktop, with SEO and Best Practices at 100. A R$600 scope (site + copywriting) delivered in full — the only pending item is Google My Business, outside the contracted scope and currently awaiting Google's own approval review.
