A WordPress content guide inside a Laravel app's website, without touching the app
A local business directory wanted to publish articles by city and topic on its own domain, where its app already runs. WordPress went into a subfolder on the same server, isolated from the app, with a custom theme and SEO ready to scale pages.

01
Problem
Guiaponto is a Laravel app that lists businesses by city. To grow in search it needed content: articles by city and topic, published by its own team, on the same domain. The risk was WordPress and the app fighting over the same URLs, the same session and the same database, and a server change taking down business sign-ups, which is where the revenue comes from.
02
Solution
WordPress in a subfolder (/guia) of the same server, with its own PHP process, system user and database, no access to the app's tables, and a web server rule that keeps the two apps apart. A custom theme with no page builder: cities and topics become template-driven pages, with an automatic table of contents, related articles and a sign-up call to action tracked in GA4. Before and after every server change, 11 pages of the app were checked for the same status and the same title.

Result
The guide is live at guiaponto.com.br/guia, with the app intact in every check. The sitemap was submitted to Search Console and read by Google with the first pages found, and a step-by-step publishing guide delivered so the client's team can publish on its own.
